Who we are
Compass (compass.tentenbs.com) is a small, independently run task tracker. Questions about this policy or your data: siraim@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, your name, and a profile photo if you add one.
- What you put in Compass: workspaces, projects, tasks, field values, comments and the activity history of your tasks, along with what your teammates add. Answers sent through a workspace's public forms are stored in that workspace.
- To keep the service running: a sign-in session, the days you used Compass, and error and performance logs.
Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your Google account's name, email address, whether Google has verified that address, your profile photo, and an account ID. We use them only to sign you in, to connect that Google account to your Compass account, and to show your name and photo.
We ask Google for nothing else. We don't keep Google access tokens, and Compass can't read your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or anything else in your Google account. Compass's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings → Account.
How we use it
To run Compass for you and your workspace: showing your work, sending the emails you ask for or that keep you informed (sign-in links, invitations, and notifications you can turn off in Settings), and fixing problems.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.
Who else handles it
- Amazon Web Services delivers Compass's email.
- Google Cloud hosts Compass and stores its nightly backups. Google also handles Google sign-in.
We share your data with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Cookies
Compass sets a cookie to keep you signed in, and a few that remember your preferences, such as the theme and the project you last opened. There are no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Your account and workspace content are kept while your account exists. Deleted tasks and projects stay in Trash for 30 days, then are permanently deleted. Backups are kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices
You can edit your name and photo, change which emails you get, and disconnect Google in Settings. Content in a workspace is shared with its members and managed by the workspace's owner. To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, email siraim@gmail.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date.
